Location. The Enterprise - a Summit Hotel in Milan, Italy, is located 800 metres from Parco Sempione and three kilometres from the Duomo cathedral and La Scala theatre. Several tram lines to the city centre stop in front of the hotel on Corso Sempione.
Hotel Features. The Enterprise Hotel was previously a printing house in the 1930s, and is dotted with Buddhist statues and Christian artworks. The lobby has marble walls, antique-style chests and red leather sofas. The hotel has a well-equipped fitness centre. Multilingual staff at the concierge desk offer sightseeing information.

A former printing room is the setting for Sophia's Restaurant, which serves international and local dishes. The restaurant has marble fireplaces, antique pieces and original skylights. Cocktails and snacks are served in the hotel bar and inner courtyard. The courtyard serves summer barbecues, and is decorated with hanging lamps, plants and an array of religious and Japanese artefacts. Wine, salami and cheese tastings can be arranged in the wine cellar. Guests receive complimentary buffet breakfasts with gluten-free products available.

The hotel has a business centre, meeting rooms and complimentary wireless Internet access .

Guestrooms. The Enterprise Hotel's 109 air-conditioned guestrooms feature cherry wood fittings, leather headboards and parquet floors. All rooms have integrated entertainment systems with satellite television, music libraries and video games consoles. Other features include high-speed Internet ports, minibars and safes. Mosaic-tiled bathrooms have complimentary toiletries and bath/shower combinations.

Expert Tip. Fashion photographers are drawn to the mosaic-lined ladies' bathroom by the conference centre. It has a floor-to-ceiling portrait of Polish Art Deco artist Lempicka.

From Milan Malpensa Airport (MXP):
Distance to Enterprise Hotel is 35 kilometres, approximately 50 minutes' drive.

Getting there. Taxis to central Milan cost about 65 EUR-75 EUR. The Malpensa Express train runs every 30 minutes between the airport's train station and the city centre (Cadorna station). Single tickets are approximately 9 EUR, and journey time is 40 minutes. From Cadorna Stations, guests should either take a taxi or tram number 1, which stops in front of the hotel. The Malpensa shuttle bus runs to Stazione Centrale (central station) every 20 minutes. The fare is 4.50 EUR and journey time is 20 minutes. Shuttle services to other destinations, including Turin and Genova, are also available. Prices are all subject to change.

Getting around. The hotel is located on Corso Sempione in Milan. The city centre is easy to explore on foot, and there are pedestrianised areas around the Duomo. A comprehensive network of trams, buses and four metro lines offers efficient travel throughout the city. Integrated tickets for all modes of public transport can be purchased at newsagents, metro stations, tobacconists, and most coffee bars. Numerous tram lines go from the hotel to the city centre. Driving is not recommended in Milan's city centre. There are many one-way streets, traffic is heavy, and parking is limited. Cars parked illegally are towed or fined. Parking is available at the hotel (surcharge). There is also a shuttle service to the New Milan Fair Rho-Pero during key events.
