Location. Residence Brizio is located in the Tuscan countryside surrounding Montalcino, Italy, five kilometres from the town centre and bus station. Siena is 39 kilometres away and Buonconvento railway station is 12 kilometres from the hotel.
Hotel Features. Residence Brizio provides rooms and apartments within a typical Tuscan stone farm villa, dating from the 16th century. It is set within a landscape of hills, olive trees, and vineyards. The garden has a swimming pool, parking is complimentary, and childcare is available.

Each of the apartments within Residence Brizio has its own kitchenette and a barbeque is available on request. Complimentary breakfast is served within the main property.

The hotel offers cookery courses and wine- tasting sessions. Guests can practice their serve on the tennis court and it is possible to walk to horse-riding facilities. Bicycles can be rented on site and fishing spots are found nearby. Four golf courses are situated within 100 kilometres of the hotel.

Guestrooms. Each apartment is decorated in traditional Tuscan style with terracotta floors, beamed ceilings, and antique furniture. All have a kitchenettes and a sofabed within the living area.

Expert Tip. San Gimignano is a small walled medieval town, renowned for its skyline of fourteen towers. These were built to hang up the saffron-dyed cloth produced in the area, and have survived the wars which destroyed similar towers in Bologna and Florence.

From Florence Amerigo Vespucci Airport (FLR):
Distance to Brizio is 120 kilometres, approximately 90 minutes' drive.

Getting there. On request, the hotel provides an airport shuttle for a surcharge. Buonconvento railway station is 12 kilometres away.

Getting around. A car is recommended for exploring the area.

Driving directions. From Florence Amerigo Vespucci Airport, take the A1 in the direction of Siena.
Take the Siena South exit, following signs to Rome on the SS222 Cassia Road.
Pass Buonconvento, and follow the road to Montalcino.
On reaching Montalcino, follow the external road toward Grosseto.
After approximately two kilometres, turn right and follow signs for the hotel.
