Location. The Beldes H.R. is located in Rome, Italy, 50 metres from Lepanto metro station, and within one kilometre of the Vatican and the Spanish Steps. Rome Fiumicino Airport is 35 kilometres away.
Hotel Features. The Beldes H.R. provides an intimate atmosphere, with a blend of modern style and provincial French furniture. It has a roof garden with a view of the city, and nearby parking for a surcharge. Hotel staff can arrange multilingual guides of the city, Papal audiences, and reservations of tickets for sport, concerts, or museums. A massage service is available. Complimentary wireless Internet is provided.

A complimentary buffet breakfast is served on the second floor terrace, with homemade cakes, cheese, ham, and croissants. The lounge bar has a pool table and Internet points.

Guestrooms.All 11 air-conditioned guestrooms at Beldes H.R. Rome are decorated in cool hues with provincial wooden furnishings. Rooms are equipped with LCD satellite television with pay movies, and high-speed Internet connections. Further amenities include minibars, safes, and hair dryers. Complimentary newspapers are provided.

Expert Tip. The two allegedly best coffee shops in Rome are either side of the Pantheon. Tasso d'Oro is the cheaper of the two and serves an excellent granita. St Eustachio is more expensive and frequented by local politicians and policemen; the means by which its baristas produce so thick a cream are kept secret.

Retningsanvisninger

From Rome Fiumicino Airport (FCO):
Distance to the Guest House Beldes Rome is 35 kilometres, approximately 45 minutes' drive.

Getting there. The Guest House Beldes Rome offers a private airport shuttle service. Otherwise, a direct train goes to Termini, from where you can take the A line metro to Lepanto.

Getting around. Rome's historic city centre is easy to explore on foot, as many attractions are located close together. The city has an efficient public transport system, including trams, buses, suburban trains, and metro (underground). Tickets can be purchased from tobacconists and ATAC ticket machines, and should be bought prior to boarding. Single tickets cost 1 EUR, and are valid for 75 minutes, covering one metro trip and unlimited bus travel. Driving in the city centre is not advised for visitors.

Driving directions. From Rome Fiumicino, take the A91 toward Roma.
Take the exit toward SS1 and merge onto the A90 North.
Take exit 1 toward Roma, onto the SS1.
Continue on the SS1 as it becomes Via Aurelia.
Continue on the Via Aurelia, then onto Piazza Irnerio, Via Blado degli Ubaldi, and Via Angelo Emo.
Take a slight left onto Piazza Santa Maria delle Grazie, and continue on Via Candia, Viale Giulio Cesare, turning right onto Via Duilio, and finally right onto Via degli Scipioni.
