Location. The Hotel da Carlos is located in the Tuscan village of Santa Maria del Giudice, Italy, six kilometres from the historic town of Lucca, and 10 kilometres from Pisa.
Hotel Features. This country hotel is situated on the slopes of the Lucchesi hills and surrounded by woodland. It offers complimentary onsite parking, and air- conditioned interiors. Multilingual staff operate the 24- hour front desk, where a safe-deposit box is stored. Complimentary wireless Internet is available throughout the hotel.

The restaurant at Hotel da Carlos has chandeliers and wood-panelled walls, and extends to a rustic bar area. The menu includes local specialities such as Lucca Vegetable Pies, Farro Soup, and Fiorentine Charcoal-Grilled Steak. Continental breakfast is complimentary.

Guestrooms. The 16 guestrooms are spread over two floors, and have balconies, terracotta floors, and antique-style cupboards. Distance to Hotel da Carlos is 20 kilometres, approximately 25 minutes' drive.

Getting there. The best way to reach the hotel is by car, although buses run from outside Arrivals' at Pisa Airport to Lucca, which is 6 kilometres from the hotel.

Getting around. The best way to explore the Tuscan countryside is by car, although local buses connect the village of Santa Maria del Giudice with surrounding towns like Lucca and Pisa.

Driving directions. From Pisa Airport head towards Pisa.
Take the SS12BIS towards Lucca.
Remain on the SS12 for approximately 10 kilometres.
You will find the hotel in the village of Santa Maria del Giudice.
