From Catania Airport (CTA): Distance to Villa Esperia Hotel is 50 kilometres, approximately 60 minutes' drive.
Getting there. The number 457 city bus departs every 20 minutes to central Catania. Buses also run directly to Syracuse and Taormina. Tickets are available from a booth in front of the terminal building, and must be validated when boarding. A taxi costs approximately 75 EUR to the hotel. Prices are all subject to change.
Getting around. An inexpensive rail network links Taormina to Sicily's other larger towns, including Palermo, Messina, Catania, and Syracuse. Buses run throughout the towns and many of the smaller villages. A car is recommended for exploring the less touristy areas. Scooter and bicycle rentals are available nearby the hotel.
Driving directions.Depart Catania Airport and take the motorway to Messina. Exit at Taormina and follow signs to Taormina Mare. Continue and follow signs to Mazzaro Beach and the funicular station Piazzale Funivia. The Villa Esperia Hotel is 80 metres on the right.
