Location. The canalside Ca' Dei Conti hotel is located in Venice, Italy, 200 metres from St Mark's Square and 300 metres from the Rialto Bridge. The Peggy Guggenheim Museum is one kilometre away. Venice Marco Polo Airport (VCE) is eight kilometres from the hotel.
Hotel Features. Retaining original features from its days as a Venetian patrician palazzo belonging to Count Sherimann, the three-storey Ca' Dei Conti hotel overlooks a canal. The hotel boasts two grand halls and a relaxing sun terrace for guests. Two original Greek pillars and a well dating back hundreds of years stand by the entrance. Concierge staff and the 24-hour front desk are on hand to book restaurant tables and plan sightseeing itineraries. A babysitting service can be arranged.

The hotel's lounge bar boasts elaborate Venetian flooring and serves drinks. Drinks can also be enjoyed on the hotel's sun terrace. Complimentary continental breakfasts are offered.

The hotel has meeting rooms and provides complimentary newspapers in the lobby. Translation services are available.

Guestrooms. Oriental rugs, Murano glass chandeliers and elaborate wall coverings decorate the Ca' Dei Conti hotel's 17 climate-controlled guestrooms, furnished with lavish, 18th century-style furnishings in blue, green and gold tones. All rooms have satellite television, refrigerators, minibars and safes.

Expert Tip. For an authentic Venetian shopping experience, guests in Venice should head to the fruit and vegetable market, 700 metres from the hotel.

From Venice Marco Polo Airport (VCE):
Distance to Ca' Dei Conti hotel is eight kilometres, approximately 20 minutes' drive.

Getting there. ATVO buses run every 30 minutes to Piazzale Roma in the city centre. The journey time is 20 minutes and single tickets cost 3 EUR. The ACTV number 5 bus also goes to Piazzale Roma. The number 15 bus runs between the airport and Venice-Mestre train station. At Piazzale Roma, water buses (vaporetto) are available. A free bus service links the airport terminal to the airport jetty; from here, regular Alilaguna boats leave for St Mark's Square, 200 metres from the hotel. Single tickets cost 10 EUR. Private water taxis are available, but are typically very expensive. Guests should ask water taxi drivers to stop at Campo Querini Stampalia from where guests cross the bridge to Fondamenta del Remedio. The hotel is at the end of this street. Prices are all subject to change.

Getting around. The hotel is on Fondamenta del Remedio. Venice is best explored on foot or by public water buses (vaporetto). Three-day passes for the public water bus cost 25 EUR and offer unlimited travel. Water taxis and gondolas are also available. Gondola ferries (traghetti) cross the Grand Canal and the fare is 50 cents. Drivers can leave their cars at Piazzale Roma or Tronchetto.
