Location. The Adriaen van Ostade B&B is located in Amsterdam, Holland, 250 metres from the Albert Cuyp market, one kilometre from the Rijksmuseum and the Van Gogh Museum, and two kilometres from the Theatre Carré.
Hotel Features. The Adriaen van Ostade B&B is a refurbished two-storey townhouse situated in the bohemian quarter of De Pijp. Complimentary wireless Internet access is available throughout.

The fourth floor features a communal dining area where guests can prepare their own evening meals. Breakfast is served here every morning (surcharge).

Guestrooms. The Adriaen van Ostade B&B features two rooms, both of which are refurbished but retain original features. Decor is contemporary in warm shades, and rooms feature wood floors, subtle lighting and modern furniture. Both rooms have full-size fridges, satellite television, complimentary wireless Internet access, alarm clocks, safes, and tea and coffee-making facilities. Bathrooms offer showers and tubs. One room opens onto a private balcony, while the other is located next to the dining area.

Expert Tip. Formerly a working-class district, De Pijp is now one of Amsterdam's most fashionable districts. Brimming with restaurants, cafes and bars, the Albert Cuyp Market is particularly recommended for its cosmopolitan shops and eateries.

From Amsterdam Schiphol Airport (AMS):
Distance to Adriaen van Ostade B&B is 20 kilometres, approximately 20 minutes' drive.

Getting there. A railway station is located under Schiphol Plaza, in the central hall of the terminal. Every 15 minutes a direct train runs to Amsterdam Central Station, two kilometres from the residence. Shared Schiphol Travel taxis can be found outside the arrivals hall. The cars can seat up to eight people and cost around 19 EUR per person to central Amsterdam and to the hotel. Private taxis into Amsterdam city centre cost approximately 40 EUR. Public buses frequently run to Amsterdam and other destinations. Buses 197 and 370 go to central Amsterdam and Amsterdam Zuid. Prices are all subject to change.

Getting around. Amsterdam can be easily explored on foot. However, there are convenient bus, tram, and metro services running through the city and outside areas. Cycling is also a popular way to see Amsterdam. There are taxi ranks at the central station. Driving within the canal ring is discouraged.
