Location. The Bastion Terbregsplein is located in Rotterdam, Holland, seven kilometres from Rotterdam city centre, the museum park and the central train station. Metro station Rotterdam Alexander is 200 metres away.
Hotel Features. A modern hotel built over seven floors, the Bastion Terbregsplein has a bar, a lounge area, and a foyer with polished wooden floors. Wireless Internet access is available throughout, and there is complimentary garage parking.

Bastion Hotel Restaurant opens for breakfast, lunch and dinner daily, and serves an à la carte menu of international dishes.

The hotel has a health club with a fitness area. A golf course is six kilometres away at Rotterdam Golfblue De Hooge Bergsche, and bike rentals in Rotterdam centre are a popular way to explore the city.

Guestrooms. The 192 guestrooms are air- conditioned and decorated in a simple contemporary style with bright colours. All have desks, safes, televisions, minibars, and tea and coffee making facilities.

Expert Tip. Seven kilometres from the hotel is the Museum Park, where the various attractions include the Maritime Museum, servicing the biggest port in Europe, the Architecture Museum, celebrating the international fame of Rotterdam's 20th-century building innovations, and the Museum Boijmans Van Beuningen, housing an art collection ranging from Bruegel to Van Gogh to contemporary art.

From Amsterdam Schiphol Airport (AMS):
Distance to Bastion Terbregsplein is 62 kilometres, approximately 42 minutes' drive.

Getting there. The hotel suggests a taxi. There is a train service from Schiphol to Rotterdam Centraal, six kilometres from the hotel. Rotterdam Alexander metro station is 200 metres from the hotel.

Getting around. Bikes are a popular mode of transport in Rotterdam and they can be hired per day or week. Public transport options include bus, tram, metro or in town ferries.

Driving directions. Head east on Ceintuurbaan-Zuid and follow signs for the A4 for Rotterdam.
Take the exit onto the A20/E25 toward Ring Rotterdam.
Take Exit 16-Pr and follow signs to Cappelle aan den Ijssel, turning right onto Capelseweg.
Take a slight right at Hoofdweg.
Turn right at Prins Alexanderlaan and left at Koperstraat.
Turn left at Tinstraat which becomes Hoofdweg, where the hotel is situated.
