Location. Positioned in the West End theatre district, Best Western Premier Shaftesbury Piccadilly stands at the border of Soho and Chinatown in London, England. This boutique-style property is located 50 metres from Leicester Square and Piccadilly Circus.
Hotel Features. Lobby décor features leather sofas, molded glass coffee tables, aquamarine-glass panels and slate floors. The Exhibition Bar reflects Arabic style and serves drinks and snacks. Two function rooms, the largest of which seats 16 people, are equipped with plasma televisions and high-speed Internet access. Wireless Internet access is available in public areas of the hotel. A 24-hour fitness room houses a range of workout equipment, including a treadmill, an exercise bike and a cross-trainer.

Guestrooms. This property offers 67 air-conditioned, soundproofed guestrooms. Beds feature oversized chrome-accented headboards, adjustable reading lights, Egyptian-cotton linens and duvets. Desk areas provide complimentary high-speed Internet access and European, US, and UK electrical sockets. Plasma televisions are equipped with video game consoles and e-mail features. Welcome amenities include teas, coffees, cookies and fresh fruit. Minibars can be fully stocked upon request. DVD players are available.

Expert Tip. Guests of the hotel may choose among 40 West End theatres, six located on Shaftesbury Avenue. Film buffs are one block from the Curzon Soho art house cinema. Approximate distance to the hotel is 15 miles (24 kilometers).



Getting there. The airport is on the Underground's Piccadilly Line, which travels directly to Piccadilly Circus Station located 50 metres from the hotel. London's black taxi cabs also service London Heathrow Airport.

Getting around. The quickest way to get around London is on the Underground. Leicester Square and Piccadilly Circus are the stops nearest the hotel. London's red buses offer a popular way to get around town. Many bus routes travel through Piccadilly Circus, 50 metres from the hotel.

London charges congestion zone fees within clearly designated areas of city. Those who operate vehicles within these zones are assessed daily fees that apply Mondays through Fridays.

The money-saving Oyster Card is a smartcard that stores up to 90 pounds of pay-as-you-go credit. It can be used on the Tubes, buses, DLR, trams and select national rail services throughout London. Oyster Cards are less expensive than single fares, and daily price capping automatically calculates the least expensive fare for single-day journeys.
