Location. The red-bricked Bloomsbury Park Hotel is located amid the thriving shops that line Southampton Row in London, England. The West End Theatre District and Covent Garden are located one kilometre away.
Hotel Features. Historic lobby details include stained-glass windows and stairwells, and the traditionally patterned carpets that line the hallways. Dudley's restaurant offers traditional and continental buffet-style breakfasts for a fee. A vending machine dispenses spirits, mixers, bottled beer and wine. Function facilities include a theatre-style function room that accommodates up to 30 people. Hotel amenities include a 24-hour concierge desk, business services and express check-out.

Guestrooms. This six-story property offers 95 simply furnished guestrooms. All accommodations include satellite television service. Rooms facing Southampton Row feature sound-proofed, double-glazed windows. Corner rooms feature expansive windows. White duvets drape the beds, and cream-coloured walls complement dark-blue carpet. Getting there. The Heathrow Express train and black taxi cabs are available for transfer from the airport to the center of London. The London Underground's Piccadilly Line also serves all Heathrow terminals and takes passengers into central London.


Getting around. The extensive London Underground system connects the hotel with the rest of central London. The Underground stations closest to the hotel are Holborn and Russell Square. There is also a wide choice of buses. The hotel can order black taxi cabs upon request.

London charges congestion zone fees within clearly marked, designated areas of city. Those who operate vehicles within these zones are assessed daily fees that apply Mondays through Fridays.

The money-saving Oyster Card is a smartcard that stores up to 90 pounds of pay-as-you-go credit. It can be used on the Tubes, buses, DLR, trams and select national rail services throughout London. Oyster Cards are less expensive than single fares, and daily price capping automatically calculates the least expensive fare for single-day journeys.
