The airport is adjacent to Southampton Airport (Parkway) Station and boasts the shortest plane to train connection of any European airport. Taxis are available on the main concourse opposite the Arrivals hall and charge approximately 35 GBP into Southsea. Bus no 101 is a regular bus service between the airport, Southampton University and the city centre. Southsea can be explored on foot, as well as with the town's regular bus service. Driving directions: From the airport, follow signs for London, and Eastleigh. Take the A335 and at the roundabout take the first exit (signposted Portsmouth, Fareham) to join the M27. At junction 12 (A27/M275), take the second branch left to join M275 (signposted Portsmouth W). At the junction with A3/A2047 (Rudmore Roundabout), follow signs for the city centre. At the next roundabouts, follow signs for central Southsea.
