The Hilton Southampton is a modern, chalet-style five-floor hotel set in landscaped, wooded gardens, four miles from the city centre and six miles from the New Forest. The hotel's 135 guestrooms all feature satellite television with pay movies, PlayStations, high-speed Internet connections, tea and coffee-making facilities, desks, trouser presses and bathrooms with hair dryers and complimentary toiletries.
Guests can swim in the heated indoor pool, join an aquacise class and work out in the gym, which overlooks the hotel's landscaped gardens and is staffed by personal trainers. The pool also features a Splash Zone for children, complete with toys and organised games. Less energetic guests can unwind in the sauna and steam room, indulge in a massage, enjoy a walk in the hotel's wooded gardens or relax in front of the fireplace and fish tank. Traditional British dishes with a contemporary twist and an extensive selection of wines are available in the hotel's restaurant, while coffee, pastries and snacks are served in Caffé Cino. Multilingual staff are on hand at the recreation desk to help guests make the most of the local area, and there is an on-site gift shop, newsagent and foreign currency exchange. The onsite business centre provides 14 meeting rooms, audio-visual equipment, and office-support and secretarial services. The hotel provides secure parking facilities for up to 220 cars (surcharge). Both Marwell Zoological Park and the Broadlands estate, home of the Mountbatten family, are six miles away, and the historic vessels Mary Rose and HMS Victory are located in Portsmouth, 17 miles away. Southampton Eastleigh Airport is three miles away, kilometres away with an approximate driving time of ten minutes.

Retningsanvisninger

Taxis are available from outside the airport and operate around the city. Southampton Airport Parkway Station is 50 metres from the terminals and trains run form here to the city centre. There is a comprehensive bus network including a free shuttle bus around the city centre between Southampton Central Station, West Quay Shopping Centre and the Town Quay Ferry terminals.
Driving directions: From the airport, exit the M27 at Junction 5, take the A335, following signs for Southampton, turn right at the traffic lights into Bassett Green Road and continue to Chilworth roundabout. Take the second exit just past the garage (taking care not to join the M3 to London) and bear right over the flyover into the hotel entrance.
